The mixer: balance each voice
Independent volume, pan, mute, and solo for each rhythm. The mixer lets you spotlight the voice you're learning and place them in the stereo field.
A mix per voice
Each rhythm in the polyrhythm is a voice with its own controls. By adjusting volume and pan, you build a mix that helps you hear exactly what you need while you practice.
The controls
- Volume — how loud each voice is. Turn up the one you're learning and bring the others down.
- Pan — where the voice sits in the stereo field, left to right. Separating the voices to different sides helps you tell them apart.
- Mute — silences a voice without removing it from the mix.
- Solo — leaves only that voice playing, so you can focus on it.
How to use it for practice
- Solo the voice you want to internalize and play it until it feels solid.
- Add the second voice at low volume and bring it up gradually.
- Pan the voices to opposite sides to hear them separately.
- Once they lock in, match the volumes and center the pan to hear the full polyrhythm.
No interruptions
You can adjust the mixer live: volume and pan changes apply on the fly, without interrupting the audio.
